A blog is a journal space that you share with the community.
It’s a place to post written commentary such as stories, ideas and
reflections, or other forms of media like photos and videos.
Blogs then serve as open discussions between you and the community.
Posting a blog is simple and customizable to fit your individual needs.
For instance, you can write a personal blog to share events with family and friends.
Or you can write a genre specific blog such as a travel blog, or write political or
music blogs to share ideas and opinions about a specific topic.
These blogs often lead to open, online discussions with your community.
If your blog is popular or interesting it could be featured by our staff.

 | This is a great time for Incline schools. We have a new principal at the high school, three new teachers being hired (instead of cuts), and growing interest in becoming an “empowerment” school to take more local control of the direction of our schools to better reflect what we want as a community. This blog is to foster local discussion among parents, teachers, students, administrators, and any other interested party about what’s the latest and greatest with our schools so we can hit the ground running in the fall. What’s an “empowerment” school? How does IB fit in? What is the stand of those running for IVGID trustee on issues regarding education? What is a cafecito and how do we get one started in Incline? We look forward to hearing from you – whether it be public, private, or “virtual” schooling.
